The room was nicely decorated and the shower was clean, and the staff were friendly, but the room had a stale smell, the breakfast fell below my expectations and wasn’t guaranteed—sometimes it arrived at 7 am, other times I had to ask for it and still never got it, and there were frequent power outages.

The room was clean and the staff were fairly pleasant. I should have read more reviews before booking. I experienced the same issues many others had: power outages, breakfast never arriving on time… never. Even after repeated reminders. On the day I left for the airport, I hadn’t received breakfast (after 9 am). The room was decent, except for the damp, stale smell that they tried to cover with a harsh air freshener that irritated sensitive noses. I hope I get my bill, because if the administration is as unhelpful as the other staff, it’s not going to be easy. Several items promised in the package were not honored.

The room itself was fine, but it didn’t make up for the many service problems. I was asked to pay more than the rate I had booked. After several talks with management and contacting the booking site, the hotel finally agreed to honor the confirmed rate. Breakfast, which was clearly included, wasn’t provided and I was asked to pay extra. The hotel also had frequent power, air‑conditioning, and internet issues that really hurt the comfort of my stay. Overall, it was disappointing, especially since I didn’t get the services that were part of my reservation.

“Parfait : j’y retournerai avec plaisir”

Everything was great: the staff were friendly, the rooms comfortable, and the hotel is close to Cotonou’s center.
