It was quiet and clean
The room was clean, quiet, and the bed was comfortable, yet the breakfast was not cooked to order; it came dry, soggy, and not fresh in a warm container.
The staff were friendly and the towels and bedding were clean, but the room felt a bit worn.
Friendly staff, clean rooms, nice wine, and a comfortable bed were all there, but parking was limited and a strong cigarette smoke lingered in the bedroom corridor. The restaurant shut down in the evening because the chef had a night shift the previous night, and breakfast was also limited.
I did not get to stay at the property as they cancelled due to what they say was previous customer damaging the shower, causing it to come off the wall and cause flooding. Following the hotel cancelling my booking a day before and promising a refund, 8 days on and after messages to and from hotel still no refund received
