Located 100 metres from Nafplio Town's centre, the Byron Traditional Hotel features two buildings made of wood and marble. The hotel offers tastefully decorated rooms with wrought-iron beds, antique-style furnishings, and earthy tones, as well as free Wi-Fi, a bar, and private bathrooms with free toiletries. It's near restaurants, cafes, and shops, and offers car and bicycle rentals, a library, and free public parking within 200 metres.

The location is excellent and the staff are extremely thoughtful and helpful, even voluntarily giving me an early breakfast on my departure day. The rooms are nice, clean, and airy. The breakfast is simple but sufficient. Not a criticism, but be aware that if you’re not good at stairs, there are about 25 to the entrance and no lifts inside; this won’t affect most people, of course.

Exceptional views from our room across Napflio, the harbour, and the mountains. Byron Hotel is in the old town but away from the busy areas, so it was very quiet and we had a superb, peaceful night’s sleep with the windows open. The staff were welcoming and provided helpful information and places to see in Napflio and the surrounding area. Breakfast was lovely and could be taken outside on a beautiful little terrace or inside. It included the best croissants and little cakes of our holiday. We liked everything!

The reception and the value for money were good. Located in the old town, there is no parking nearby.

The spot is great and the staff were super friendly and helpful, but the mattress felt a bit lumpy and could use a replacement.
