“Very disappointing experience – Poor service, cleanliness and serious safety concerns”

The location was fine, but the overall experience was very disappointing, especially since we were traveling with three young kids. We arrived at 12:30 pm, as we had agreed with the property, yet the room wasn’t ready. We were told a large group hadn’t checked out yet, so we agreed to wait. We had booked a 4‑hour desert tour starting at 2:30 pm, and the manager promised the room would be ready and our luggage would be inside when we returned. When we came back four hours later, our luggage was still exactly where we had left it, outside the reception area, even though it contained valuable and sensitive personal belongings. We were also rushed into paying everything upfront. After payment, staff were barely available or helpful. Unfortunately, nothing improved once we finally got into our room: the headboard was simply leaning against the wall with several sharp screws sticking out, creating a serious safety hazard, especially for our three young children and even for adults; only one towel was provided for our family of five; dirty plates, leftover food, and rubbish were left in the common areas from the time we arrived until the evening, without being cleared away; the outdoor seating areas were littered with tissues and plastic bottles; and the manager asked us to cancel our reservation, claiming the platform charged too much commission. We agreed in good faith and paid the exact same amount directly to the property, without receiving any discount or benefit. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing. We felt that collecting payment was a much higher priority than providing decent hospitality, basic cleanliness, or a safe environment for guests.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ An unforgettable stay at Seven Pillars Luxury Camp – the camp was gorgeous, with breathtaking views of the Wadi Rum desert that made for a peaceful, relaxing vibe. The rooms were exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well organized. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, always ready to help with a smile and make sure everything was perfect. The food was delicious, with a wonderful variety of dishes, and the traditional Bedouin atmosphere made the experience even more special. The desert tours were fantastic, offering stunning landscapes, exciting adventures, and unforgettable sunset views. Everything was well organized, from the excellent cleanliness and hospitality to the comfortable accommodation and amazing activities. The attention to detail and the quality of service truly made this stay special. I highly recommend Seven Pillars Luxury Camp to anyone visiting Wadi Rum who wants to experience the beauty of the desert, authentic Jordanian hospitality, delicious food, and unforgettable adventures. A huge thank you to the entire team for making our stay so memorable. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this camp to everyone! 🌟🏜️

We had a truly wonderful time in Wadi Rum: the camp was clean and organized, the tents comfy, the mountain and desert views stunning, hospitality excellent, food delicious, the Bedouin vibe and starry evening gatherings made it special, and the jeep tour was enjoyable—definitely worth repeating.
