The Hotel Mecenate Palace, a 4-star hotel, is centrally located in Rome, facing the Basilica of Santa Maria Maggiore. Elegant rooms feature air conditioning and tea/coffee makers, with some offering panoramic views. The hotel's Roof Garden Restaurant and Sky Bar provide rooftop views. Rome Termini Metro and Train Station is nearby, with the Coliseum and Roman Forum within a 15-minute stroll.

Rooms were clean. Staff were professional. enjoyed the rooftop restaurant and bar. Good location. The rooms were dated. Could do with a more modern upgrade

Atendimento excelente, foi muito bem atendidos. Ganhamos um upgrade de quarto por conta da lua de mel. Muito bem localizado 10-15 minutos dos principais pontos turísticos. Voltaria com certeza!

Mecenate Palace sits in a beautiful old building directly across the plaza from Basilica Maggiore of St Mary Major. We had a wonderful view of the church from our room. The buffet breakfast was great – good variety and quality – and the rooftop dining area offered a breathtaking view. The property definitely needs a refresh. Our bathroom had big patches in the caulking around the tub and stained floor and tub tiles. One of the front‑desk staff was not very pleasant and tried to change the agreed‑upon terms of the transfer they arranged for our departure to the airport. Not a great last impression.
