Banff Rocky Mountain Resort

The view was beautiful, surrounded by stunning mountains, and my stay in late October was quiet and peaceful—nothing to dislike.

“Decent place, very expensive for outdated rooms.”

We liked the proximity to the town center and the park, and it was nice to have a kitchen in our room, but the building and our room were very outdated and needed renovation; the walls were thin, so the people above us sounded incredibly loud and their footsteps shook the ceiling, and because quiet hours don’t start until 11 pm the front desk didn’t intervene until after that, forcing us to endure loud banging for hours.

The hotel was spotless, the service was amazing, and the bed was super comfortable; it’s only a 7‑minute drive from downtown Banff where all the restaurants, bars, and shops are, so overall we had a great stay.

The facilities were decent, but the hotel offers very little for the price it charges.

“Family friendly suite.”

Quite expensive but kind of expected that in banff. The room was nicely done but the walkways and patios have all cracked and heaved from cold winters
