Wienerwaldhof Rieger

Everything was great, but if I had to single out something, that's exactly how I imagine a pet‑friendly hotel. Nothing could be criticized!

The staff were friendly, the view was nice, baby‑friendly and the location quiet. However, in some spots there was a bit of dust under the furniture, not ideal for babies.

“Enttäusch”

It was great to be able to walk our dog off‑leash on nature trails, and I have to commend the owner for handling everything solo while staying friendly throughout. The breakfast, however, was insufficient and at least two days old; the sausage and cheese on the side were dried out and the tomatoes had been sliced the day before. Access to the sauna only started at 4 pm, requiring a walk to another building in the strong, icy wind that blows 24 hours a day. I asked twice in one day for the sauna to be pre‑heated for us, but they said it was closed; we only got to use it after getting ready for dinner, and the next day we could use it for just an hour because of the late opening time. We had booked the hotel specifically for the sauna, so this was disappointing.

The surroundings were nice, but that was about it. The pillows were really flat, and the breakfast pastry selection was pretty underwhelming.

“Traumhaft”

Honestly, everything about this hotel exceeded my expectations - I'd definitely stay here again. There wasn't a single thing I was unhappy with.
