The hotel has nothing to complain about: rooms are clean, there are refrigerators and a kettle, everything is spotless. The location is excellent, and the Slovak‑speaking staff at the restaurant were a plus.

What a fantastic place! The modern, spacious building, tasty breakfast, and friendly staff made us feel genuinely welcomed and comfortable. The on‑site restaurant is also worth recommending.

Breakfast was perfectly adequate, reflecting the small family‑run nature of the hotel and its use of local products. The hotel sits right in the middle of all the interesting spots, with one direction leading to a UNESCO‑listed railway route and the other to a BILLA store and a cable‑car station that takes you up to ridges with stunning mountain views. After 2 or 3 days you can walk around everything, and there’s a nearby station. The staff were fantastic—no problems at all. A bonus was being able to speak Czech with a very kind and extremely helpful lady who served us at the table, handled the bill, and gave us plenty of information about the hotel and the area. The rooms were new, clean, and tasteful. The kitchen featured not only classic dishes but also local specialties, all with great flavor, prepared by the owners themselves. In the evening the restaurant was completely full, proving its good reputation. Guests here have reserved tables and receive a 10 % discount. The hotel’s courtyard has a limited number of parking spaces—once full you have to park on the street. Both parking options are free, and the street looks safe; the area is quiet and there’s a police station next to the hotel. In October we were lucky to get a courtyard spot.

The breakfast was good, covering all the necessities for a morning meal; the cereals should also include the fiber ones.

“Im Großen und Ganzen war es nett. Der Ort ist schon sehr verschlafen.”

The breakfast was good, everything you could need was there, fresh egg dishes were offered, and the service was very nice. Unfortunately, the hotel‑run restaurant only opened on Thursday, which unfortunately affected the whole area.
