The breakfast was very good. The room and bathroom were very clean and OK. The carpet in the room was not great.

The breakfast buffet in organic quality was plentiful and well‑sorted, and the dinner menu at the restaurant was high quality. We had assumed the hotel restaurant would be open on arrival day, but it was not, which disappointed us. However, the next day the Vonhoff family opened the restaurant for the few guests.

The chef was friendly, the staff were friendly, breakfast was great, and the bus stop right in front of the door was handy. The Sauerland map included in the price let us use the bus for free. The shower entrance (bathtub) was not good, the floor of the tub was slippery and could be dangerous for older people.
