The breakfast was Chinese‑style, the coffee was mostly undrinkable and there was no regular milk, yet we managed to find everything we needed and the prices were cheap; the dining room was pleasant and not down in the basement. Our room was truly beautiful, very modern and spacious, although the air‑conditioner barely cooled even on its highest setting and we wish every hotel had a “master” switch to shut off all lights and curtains. The advertised gym turned out to be a tiny room next to the laundry with only three machines, and the reception staff’s limited English was disappointing for an international hotel.
