The hotel was quiet and pleasant; we appreciated the warm welcome, the restaurant was very good and hearty with tasty Belgian specialties; the rooms could use a refresh, but that didn’t spoil our stay.

“This place has sooooo much potential”

The property sits in a quiet forest, and the pool was a refreshing highlight; however, the carpeting, furniture, and windows need a major overhaul, the pervasive scents were irritating and seemed to require masking, the royalty‑free music started early in the morning at a loud volume, the restaurant and bar’s strict opening hours made the place less inviting, and the double room only provided seating for one person, which is baffling; furthermore, the toilet paper was supplied via a single‑sheet dispenser instead of proper rolls.

The setting was very calm amid the pine forest, the pool was pleasant, and the bedding was comfortable. However, the restaurant was far too expensive—30 € minimum for a dish, 26 € for Caesar salad—so the value for money was poor, and the room could have been more modern for the price.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, the in‑house restaurant worked well, and there were parking spaces in front of the hotel. The building itself feels a bit dated.
