I chose to skip the booked breakfast, yet they still waited for us beyond the usual breakfast hours, and the room was cozy with very friendly staff. The walls, however, let in a lot of sound and voices.

“Im großen und ganzen in Ordnung.”

Breakfast was good, the city location is convenient, and the staff were friendly. However, there was no coffee maker in the room, parking was often difficult, the toilet seat was loose, the toilet was barely usable because the sink was in front, and the window facing the street wasn’t sealed, letting in noise.

The breakfast was good.

“Billig aber nicht empfehlenswert.”

The location is central. 1. The place is on Hauptstrasse; sleeping with the window open is impossible and the room is tiny. 2. The toilet ventilation is extremely loud, coupled with the light, and it’s very annoying. 4. Breakfast offers almost no variety; the egg container is empty, and when I asked about eggs the answer was no, and it took longer to get a reply. The owner is Turkish, and the service staff, also Turkish, show no interest.

“Einfaches Stadthotel für Durchreisende in Zentrumsnähe.”

The breakfast is simple but sufficient. The rooms are tidy and clean, and it’s close to the city center. The hotel seems to be heavily used by transit guests; a vending machine would be handy. The sink is very small, and the breakfast service could improve. A cooked egg would be nice and is definitely doable given the number of guests.
