Being close to the start of the Silence Route was nice, but the food was terrible, the bed on the second floor collapsed into pieces, the cistern didn’t work, it was the only room without a mosquito net, and a lot of wildlife got in.

The place was peaceful, and although it’s a spot that attracts truckers, there are no industries or odd businesses nearby; it’s surrounded by nature, which is a plus, though that same nature can feel a bit overwhelming.

The hotel is isolated but the spot is ideal for the Silence Route, with a large parking lot, decent restaurant and bar, comfortable rooms, good value, and very affordable breakfast buffet, but the reception was mediocre, the restaurant had no vegetables with the main dish, and there was no fresh bread at breakfast.
