The owner’s home‑like hospitality was amazing; every time I called for questions, they were kind and helpful throughout my stay, which made me feel truly grateful. The nights were quiet, and the café across the street was stylish, opening at 8:00 for a lovely morning. The only downside was that the slipper area inside the door was inconvenient—when I closed the door, I couldn’t put my shoes down, which was a hassle. The building is old, so maybe that’s unavoidable.

The bath was spacious, letting me relax fully and shake off the fatigue. No complaints.

The tatami room was surprisingly good, and the toilet and bath were close enough that it didn’t bother me. Since it’s a family ryokan, even with kids around it was fine. The morning sky seen from the roof was expansive. No negatives.
