Hotel Nievesol is nestled in Formigal's ski resort, 500 metres from ski lifts. The tranquil setting offers a restorative break amidst the Pyrenees Mountains. Facilities include a bar-cafeteria, TV and games rooms, lounge, and restaurant serving buffet breakfast and à la carte dinners. Double, triple, and family rooms are available, some with lounges. Sallent de Gallego is a 10-minute drive away.

Great value for money and a solid breakfast. The dinner menus are also acceptable. Parking nearby is not easy.

The hotel breakfast was very complete, offering all kinds of juices and food, though the juices aren’t natural. In the room we were given a three‑bed option even though we were two, which was great for extra space. The location is perfect, and for a €5 deposit you get access to the town pool. A nice touch is the moisturizing cream in the bathroom along with shampoos and gels. The hotel feels a bit old, the bathroom is somewhat small, and the décor makes you think of an old mountain hotel, but overall it’s fine.
