The location lived up to the reviews, and if I weren’t on business I’d have stayed a few days to go fishing; the place looked a bit dated as advertised but wasn’t dirty, smelled fine and was perfectly adequate for a night’s stay, with the old‑fashioned fixtures I’d expected from the comments, so everything was fine and I appreciated that the vibe matched what I’d read and think these kinds of inns deserve preservation. My only worry was that the parking area felt unassigned, leaving me uneasy about possible car tampering.
