“somehow disappointed”

The front desk was fine except for one staff member who called me at 3:00 am to ask me to return for a passport copy. The bathroom and breakfast left a lot to be desired.

The rooms were clean and well equipped, but the price included breakfast that only started at 8:30 am, while I had to leave at seven, so I missed it. The hotel entrance has steep steps that are hard to navigate with a suitcase, and the staff seemed uninterested.

The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to Istiklal Street and Taksim Square, and the staff are very helpful, respectful, and courteous. The breakfast is fantastic, with all the basics including Turkish tea. Around the hotel there are grocery stores, restaurants, and cafés. The hotel is on the top floor, and when heading to Istiklal Street there are some steps and drops, but they didn’t bother us, especially my friend who had knee and back pain but managed fine. Daily room cleaning was not perfect and should be reported to reception, but I would stay there again next time.

A good hotel on Taksim Square with courteous staff and good value for money. The maintenance is lacking, resulting in water leaks in the bathroom.

The breakfast was good and the location near Taksim is convenient. The bathroom wasn’t clean, the room lacked sufficient light, and over a six‑day stay there was never a single cleaning by room service.
