The location is superb, in a quiet spot very near the beach, and they let us keep our belongings there until we were ready to head to the airport.

The hotel is well situated near the beach and within walking distance of the town centre, fish market, etc. The room was comfortable and spacious, though it wasn’t the one I had originally booked. There are some nice indoor and outdoor spots to relax, and the Wi‑Fi is decent. The shower had cold water, and the property is a bit tricky to find.

The reception was decent, not as enthusiastic as what I’ve seen in Senegal and elsewhere, but it was easy to locate the place and the check‑in was quick. I stayed on the top floor in a room with a comfortable bed, shower, toilet, and a fan, and the value for money was acceptable. However, the fridge in the room had a plug that didn’t match the sockets, so it was useless. The mosquito net was too short, letting insects in, and the area around the room had little appeal. Opening the stairwell door was also a hassle.

The room was well set up for a multi‑day stay, complete with a fridge, water heater, and nice touches from the owner. The bed was comfortable, the décor was attractive, and there was a pleasant outdoor space to linger in. The price‑quality ratio was excellent, and we would have liked to stay longer, but we only spent one night.
