The staff was friendly and the location was good. I arrived to find that the lower‑level rooms are actually in the basement, and my basement room actually had larger windows than these. Luckily, they moved me to a main‑floor room. This place is a motel, not a hotel: you park in front of your room and access it from outside. It’s supposed to be non‑smoking, yet people smoke right outside your door and you’re swarmed in smoke. Inside, it’s dark, dilapidated, and dingy. The linens are clean but have a strong chemical smell and feel rough on the skin. The furniture looks like it was thrown off a truck and is full of gouges. The bathroom counter has chips and stains. The bathtub is chipped and scratched, the toilet needs to be flushed several times to work, and the shower head was absolutely disgusting. Breakfast was no better; nobody cleaned tables after use. This place looks like a “charge by the hour” motel and definitely doesn’t match the nightly rate. The pictures don’t show the actual disrepair.
“Glad we had a late check in and left very early the next morning!”
Getting the booking and checking in before we arrived went smoothly, but parking was a nightmare— the lot was so cramped that maneuvering a car was difficult, and a staff member with a flashlight inspecting cars made it hard to sleep worried. The room clearly needed a refresh: laminate flooring had seams peeling with dirt in between, counters were marred by burn marks, gouges, and stains, and the tub was covered in a scummy line and hair. The bed was tiny and too springy, making it easy to fall off.
“They upgraded our room. It was a great room but no glasses to use except paper cups.”
I had the best cheeseburger and French fries meal, and I went back to the kitchen to tell the chef, who was very pleased. The hallway layout is confusing, and if there were a fire it would be very hard to exit the building.
“I was impressed overall.”
Room was great - breakfast was more than enough! Bed was very comfortable and the pillows were comfortable also. When I went into the pool area there was a strong smell of chemicals and there was white suds in the pool so unfortunately I did not go in the pool but did go into the hot tub and sauna!!!
“Good place for the price.”
The location was spot on, right next to everything we had to be near.
