“A convenient place to stay in York.”

The best thing about this hostel is its location. It's really good! Just a 10-minute walk from the city center. Staff are friendly and this is a good point too. You can leave your luggage on the day of check out if needed. This other point I like it. Regarding the facilities. Well, they are okay but not great. Not cooking facilities or just a microwave to warm up food. Even not option to make your a cup of tea. No soap in the toilets on the GF. So if you need N2 not option to wash your hands properly afterwards. I didn´t take the breakfast option so not evolution of it

The location was good. The shower was weak and lukewarm, the heater was unusable, and the separate items that were provided could not be used.

👍 What I liked * Excellent location: Very close to King’s Cross Station, which makes getting around London extremely convenient. * Helpful staff: The staff were friendly and helpful when assistance was needed. * Very small and cramped room: The room felt extremely tight, with very limited space to move around or store luggage. * Cleanliness was disappointing: The room was not properly clean, and the bathroom in particular needed much better cleaning and maintenance. * You have to make your own bed: Guests are expected to put on the bedsheets and prepare the bed themselves, which is not what I would expect from a professionally operated accommodation. * No curtains: The lack of curtains made the room feel uncomfortable and offered very little privacy. * Extremely noisy: Noise from other guests and the surrounding area was very noticeable, making it difficult to sleep and rest properly. * Overall comfort: The combination of the cramped room, poor cleanliness, lack of privacy and excessive noise made the stay considerably less comfortable than expected. * Value for money: Although the location is excellent, the overall standard of the accommodation does not feel consistent with the price
