The stay in Kanchanaburi itself was nicely central, and the nightlife street with most restaurants and bars is just around the corner; the Death Railway Museum and the night market are also very close. The staff were a bit rushed and spoke almost no English—nothing rude, just not very helpful. Most sights in Kanchanaburi are a bit farther from the center, so using Grab or arranging transport in advance is advisable.

The staff were brilliant, helpful, and friendly, but there was no choice of pillows—just a firm one—and the shower pressure was a bit weak.

The staff were extremely friendly, and the location made it easy to see the main sights either on foot or by tuktuk. The decor was very basic and could use a little TLC.

The staff were especially nice! The bathroom was pretty, but it could have been polished better, and it was unfortunate to see mold in the corners.
