The hotel is very pretty and overall we had a pleasant stay. The staff were always very kind and attentive; whenever we wrote or needed something, they responded quickly and helped us. The jacuzzi was excellent, heated well, and we enjoyed it a lot. Also, although the room didn’t have air conditioning, the fan worked well and cooled us a lot. The shower has a slight tilt that makes water spill and wet most of the bathroom floor and the sink area. Hot water also takes a bit to come out. The pool had a greenish tint that didn’t give us confidence to use it, so I’d recommend checking its maintenance. Lastly, the description says the room has air conditioning, but ours only had a fan. It would be good to correct that info to avoid confusion for future guests.

“Pure relaxation and an outstanding stay”

We absolutely loved staying at Hotel Mocca! It was perfect for a peaceful, rejuvenating break, especially quiet on weekdays. We booked the king suite with a large terrace and kitchenette, which fit our needs exactly. Relaxing on the terrace and by the pool offered beautiful mountain views and lush gardens; a huge silk floss tree lined the property, blooming with pink flowers that attracted butterflies and birds. The town center is a short walk away, with a great Cuban restaurant, convenience stores, and sidewalk bakeries along the route. The staff were lovely and helpful, and on‑site manager Marta was extremely considerate. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment was well equipped, including a sizable filtered water dispenser that was refilled upon request. We hope to return on our next trip to Tepoz/CDMX. The only downside was that the shower takes 5‑10 minutes to heat up, which isn’t a big deal but good to know. The pool is small, more of a dipping pool, but it’s delightful and has a nice ledge for sunbathing with your legs in the water.

The hotel looks nice, but there’s no parking and the pension costs extra. It’s two blocks away, and we had a rainy day which made it uncomfortable. The Wi‑Fi is bad, and the TV, which relies on the internet, is impossible to watch, so we had a rough day.
