The host was fabulous and very attentive. We were upgraded to the lodge because it was snowing and the yurt had no heating. The lodge was fabulous, had underfloor heating, was cosy, and very clean. It had everything you needed for a weekend away.

The property is a beautiful large estate with amazing views of the sunset. The accommodation has everything you need for a weekend away and a hot tub to top it all off. Cindy is an amazing host and she cooks an amazing full English.

Cindy warmly welcomed me and my partner, showed us around the lodge, and assured us that if we needed anything we could just let her know. We had everything we needed to self‑cater; Cindy also had the hot tub ready for us, even running it for a couple of days before our arrival so it could fully heat up in the fierce December weather! The property is in a picturesque location and isolated from all the hustle and bustle you’d otherwise have in city locations; we couldn’t have asked for anything more concerning our stay and hope to come back again some time to try the Yurt. It would have been nice to have an oven as well, but given the space constraints we had more than enough to comfortably accommodate us during our stay.
