Palm Springs Hotel Dili

The breakfast was fantastic, and the coffee shop was great. The top‑floor balcony restaurant had a good vibe, and the late checkout was helpful. The toilet hose showed great attention to detail, and the shower was quality. The room fittings were thoughtfully designed and feature‑rich. The only downside was the lack of a ceiling fan.

We appreciated the warm welcome and the overall feel and layout of the hotel. The restaurant’s beautiful setting surprised us, and the food was excellent; breakfast was very good. The staff were friendly but didn’t pay enough attention to detail to justify the price and rating. They failed to help us find a rental car with a driver and didn’t realize we couldn’t call a landline from our phones after telling us to call ourselves. They seemed unhelpful, yet a different front desk person was very helpful at checkout. The waiters appeared poorly trained, sometimes forgetting cutlery or an ordered drink, avoiding eye contact, and switching between tables during a meal. They often asked for our order after we had already placed it, failed to communicate long wait times, and simply disappeared. One boy, however, was very attentive.

“este hotel o oreço é muito alto para a qualidade dos serviços que oferece”

The rooftop and the bar at the entrance were good. It’s unacceptable that there was no ham, cheese slices, or bacon at breakfast. The orange juice wasn’t visible and had to be requested. From 2 a.m. the staff either formed a line in the dining area or hired other workers. The pool water didn’t seem clean, indicating a lack of maintenance.

The WiFi was free, not paid. It was a bit overpriced.

“Exceptional”

The location was good and the staff were very helpful and friendly. The only negative was the 5 am wake‑up call each morning that echoed through the building from the mosque next door.
