The ibis Amsterdam Centre Stopera is a 10-15 minute walk from Dam Square, Rembrandt Square, and the station. This hotel features air-conditioned rooms with flat-screen TVs and a 24-hour drink and snack service. A spacious courtyard offers a summer seating area. Breakfast is served daily in the breakfast area. The hotel is surrounded by trams, buses, and the metro station, providing easy access to Central Station in 2 stops.

The room was very basic. Cleanliness was average with some rubbish still in the room on arrival. However, what let the room down the most was comfort—the bed didn’t have a proper mattress and was very uncomfortable, the pillows were even worse, leaving me with a sore back and headaches throughout the stay.

The staff were friendly and the location was good, but the double bed was just two single beds pushed together and they separated during the night.

The breakfast was excellent, but I wish I could lower the air‑conditioner below 22 degrees when I want.
