“Comfortable hotel for a stop and good dinner.”

A lovely terrace off the dining room above a pond for dinner in the evening, and the bedroom was very clean with a comfy bed.

“Trois nuits reposantes”

The quiet location and green surroundings were great, the breakfast was varied and plentiful, the dinner was very good and also available on Sunday evenings, the staff were helpful, and the bedding was excellent. The only downside was the lack of a secure parking spot for a motorcycle.

“'Cottage'?? A real disappointment”

The setting and restaurant were excellent, making it a perfect stopover on the way south, and the beds were comfy, but nothing else stood out. The complete lack of seating, cutlery, and crockery was a major issue, and I can honestly say it was one of the worst rooms I've stayed in; the only saving grace was the comfortable beds—otherwise the cottages had nothing else.

The staff were available and helpful, and there were no issues.

Getting to the cottages was a complicated route, and the parking was far away because of the luggage; there was no lighting on the site, making it difficult to reach the cottage on a dark night.
