“Great place to stay”

We visited at the end of the season and had the whole property to ourselves. Simon and Joseph were excellent hosts, and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfasts were great, and they offered plenty of travel suggestions for newcomers to the island. The self‑service bar had a lounge and a TV downstairs for guests.

“It was a stay well worth making and would want to stay at this hotel only on next visit.”

The owners, Simon and Jonathan were exceptional. Nothing was too much for them to deal with. The breakfasts were exceptional and a variety of different breakfasts could be accommodated with whatever was requested. The rooms were beautifully kept, brilliant size shower. Nothing anybody could pick fault with. There was nothing to dislike as everything was first class

“A proper seaside guesthouse. ( in the nicest way)”

The hosts were fantastic, very accommodating and eager to please, making us feel right at home from the start. Breakfast was superb—fresh, well‑cooked, with a nice variety of choices, and the coffee was good too. The setting was quiet yet close enough to walk to the high street, the coast path, and the beaches. The room was roomy, and the shower was powerful and hot. Public areas like the conservatory and the bar/tv room were welcome; we didn’t use the bar, but it was very reasonably priced. A small issue was that some end‑of‑season decorations needed updating, though it didn’t bother us much. A few pieces of information we received were outdated; it’s best to double‑check with Google.

The place was clean, comfortable, modern, and stylish, and the breakfast was excellent. The hosts were absolutely delightful. The only downside was having to leave at the end of the stay.

The welcome was first class. I have travelled extensively and never have I come across a more friendly and comprehensive greeting. Just a perfect beginning to a vacation. Leaving, I didn't want to leave
