Philippe was a very friendly, human, cultured person who took care of us and knew how to do everything. I fell in love from the first contact and even invited him to the Musardière, a great local restaurant. The chalet is eco‑friendly. Thank you again for this stay so close to Giverny! I’ll definitely return. No issues, the place met my expectations.

We stayed in Saint‑Marcel, very close to Giverny, at the Edelweiss hotel with a fantastic host named Philippe, who is extremely warm and welcoming. He owns a beautiful wooden house, a real log cabin, and his hospitality is exceptional and very kind; we absolutely loved everything, it was perfect in every way. We highly recommend this place to everyone. The location is very convenient, on a quiet street not far from Giverny, where Monet’s gardens and the Museum of Impressionism are located. It’s a peaceful, authentic, and very picturesque spot.

The host’s friendliness, the ease of access, and the cleanliness were all good, just a pity the toilet isn’t in the room but it’s very easy to reach.
