Located in a quiet Zakopane area, the Wooden Tatra House features stylish chalets with flat-screen TVs, bathrooms, and hairdryers. Chalets are designed in regional style with wooden furniture and fireplaces. Kitchenettes include kettles, refrigerators, and dining areas, while gardens offer wooden benches, tables, and barbecue facilities. On-site amenities include a playground and free bicycle rentals. The hotel is 3 km from Krupówki Street and 400 meters from Krzeptówki II ski lift.

The service was always helpful. Everything else was fine, the only thing I’d recommend is to have someone always available at reception.

The location is good, not far from a delicatessen shop, overall well equipped but with some issues. It’s clean overall but has some problems. It’s spacious overall but has some shortcomings. There’s a nice garden and a place for a barbecue, and a parking spot for a car. Checking in at 5 pm is a joke! We had trouble getting inside. The code we were given didn’t work, and after several attempts we had to ask a nearby place for help; the lady gave us keys. The place is nice, but: 1) it’s too noisy from the other apartment, 2) there are no shower gel or shampoo—if you’re coming from the mountains, checking in after 5 pm with no shampoo is a problem, though we were lucky to have towels, 3) there were mouse droppings in the house, 4) in the morning we only had cold water, and 5) the house needs some maintenance. Overall, it’s okay; just a few small improvements would make it perfect. Good place for 4 people. 7 is a stretch for 4 adults + 3 kids—should be fine.

A pretty cottage with good equipment, though the cleanliness could use a bit more work.
