The chalet sat right in the middle of nature and offered a gorgeous view, and the host was constantly on hand to fulfill every request—even if he was the only one doing the work. Breakfast, however, didn’t kick off until after nine and was just a basic coffee with no fresh breads, cheese rolls included. Outside the building the grounds looked a bit neglected—ant hills, overgrown grass, a carpet‑less area and a pool that was visibly dirty—so the place has potential but needs some upkeep.

The staff were friendly and the rooms were comfortable, which made the stay pleasant overall. Breakfast only began at 9 am, which felt late, and the property is a fair distance from the town centre.

The spot is really lovely, and the room was spacious, nicely decorated and a joy to stay in. The only downside was the breakfast bread, which could have been a bit fresher.

The view from the chalet was spectacular and the host was always ready to help, making the stay enjoyable. The only gripe I had was that breakfast started at 9 am, which is later than I’d like since I prefer getting up early and making the most of the day.
