The Crowne Plaza Maastricht by IHG is centrally located, within a 15-minute walk of the Vrijthof. The hotel features a 24-hour reception, terrace with River Maas views, and rooms with seating areas, cable TV, minibar, work desk, and tea and coffee facilities. A bar with fireside seating and quality amenities make it an ideal stay, near Bonnefanten Museum and Maastricht Railway Station.

The location was top, and the staff were friendly. The place felt a bit dated. There was only one pair of slippers in the double room, which I really disliked because I hate walking barefoot on hotel floors. I received an expired drive‑out ticket for the parking, which caused a traffic jam and anxiety in the parking garage. The parking garage management says this happens all the time.

The location is fantastic, right between two bridges over the Maas so you can walk everywhere easily, it’s quiet, parking is under the hotel and the staff are friendly; the hotel does look a bit dated—everything is tidy but has an old‑fashioned feel, and for the price we paid for one night it fell short of expectations, especially since the photos made the room seem much more modern.
