The peace and setting were great, and the owner’s charming hospitality (there’s no staff). Nothing to note otherwise; breakfast was superb.

The room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good. At the village there was only one shop for services, and since we arrived at 19:30 it was already closed.

The room was pretty, complete with a tea or coffee set for breakfast, which turned out to be very pleasant and good, and the reception was friendly. The only downside was the lack of air‑conditioning, though a ceiling fan worked quite well.

This guesthouse is charming, with a host who paid attention to every decorative detail—wooden panels that echo the house’s interior, simple bedding, curtains, and vases; magazines, books, a teapot, and the Wi‑Fi code are all available in the room. The host is very kind and welcoming, and breakfast is served on a terrace overlooking a lovely garden with homemade jams; two useful fans keep the old house’s walls cool. Overall, it’s a cozy place I’ll return to, located in the tiny town of Barran, 15 minutes from Auch.
