Meaco Royal Hotel - Malabon

“Not recommended”

The hotel itself was pretty cool, but the customer service was a major letdown. They seemed completely uninterested in helping me with anything. The place had a weird vibe, but I guess it's worth a try if you're in the area.

The room was spotless, and the staff were super accommodating. The only thing that was a bit off was the lack of mats in front of the restroom – it's a small thing, but it would've made a big difference. Overall, it was a great stay.

The staff were really courteous and helpful, and the location was super convenient – shops, malls, and grocery stores were all within walking distance. They even offered breakfast meal delivery, which was a nice touch. However, the tables were a bit dusty, there were no hooks in the bathroom, and the pillowcases were stained.

“So bed”

The hotel's proximity to SM mall was a huge plus, but unfortunately, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. I've seen mice scurrying around, and the floors were pretty dirty. Still, the location made up for some of the issues.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the hotel itself was a letdown. They did switch me to a new room when I complained about the noise, which was a relief. The area's lively, with plenty of places to eat and drink, but the hotel's price was way too high - 25 euros a night without breakfast. The rooms are old and the bedding's seen better days, and don't even get me started on the state of the mattress, which was disgusting. I'd advise asking for a room change if you can.
