“Good hotel without breakfast.”

The location was good and parking could be reserved, but they did not serve breakfast at all, though we could go to a nearby cafeteria.

The location is basically good, right in the middle of the old town’s pedestrian zone, so small shops, bars and restaurants are easily reachable on foot. However, when we arrived during the normal check‑in window, the hotel entrance was locked and nobody answered the bell; only after we managed to call the reception were we let in. The room we got wasn’t the one we booked and paid for – instead of a room with a bed and a sofa bed, we were given a room that only had a regular double bed, which belongs to a different room and price category. When we pointed out the mistake to the front desk and asked for a room that matched our booking, we were told rather coldly that such a room was no longer available and had already been assigned elsewhere. No discount was offered and no apology was made. Also, there are no hotel‑owned parking spaces, so you have to find a spot around the pedestrian zone, which can mean a longer walk because of the parking situation.

Everything was very good, but the cleaning under the slatted bed frame left a year’s worth of dust.
