A beautiful historic house in Ugento; the triple room was very spacious, and host Giovanni was friendly and helpful.

“Un vero peccato”

The palace that houses the B&B is stunning, with a history and past that seem to fade over time: very high vaults, courtyards, garden, an imposing staircase connecting the ground floor to the first. Unfortunately, as a noble palace it is not properly maintained, with poorly executed and aesthetically questionable construction works: floors that aim to imitate ancient ones but are low‑quality tiles, an unpresentable bathroom with a rusted radiator, old and unsuitable fixtures, a shower with a wrong slope that leaks and floods the whole room (we had to use towels to prevent standing water). It breaks your heart to see how such an important property, meant to be a hospitality structure, can be reduced. In the “what you liked” section there is also what I didn’t like.

A very large room with classic style: it feels like staying in a royal palace! Host Giovanni was very kind and helpful. The location is ideal. Satisfied.
