The room was spacious and meticulously detailed, but the building’s exterior was not shown in any photos, so when we arrived we found a structure that didn’t match the room images. I think it would be fair to include exterior shots so guests can see the full property before booking. Also, at €200 per night the price feels too high for the overall quality, and I expected a higher standard and better alignment between the listing and what we actually encountered.

The property is clean, very large, and overall spotless. It’s just a few minutes by car from the old town, a place that lets you escape the city’s bustle while giving you all the comforts. You really feel pampered, and the excellent communication deserves a big shout‑out.

For my birthday we stayed here, and the suite—carefully crafted down to the last detail—had an elegant design meant to convey comfort and relaxation. The spa area, with a hot tub and Turkish bath, was spotless and let us unwind completely. The location was great: we walked everywhere, it only takes 20 minutes to reach the historic center. Highly recommended for a repeat visit!

L’Atipia Cave Suite è stata una vera scoperta, un luogo unico dove comfort e autenticità si incontrano perfettamente. Dormire in una suite scavata nella roccia è un’esperienza affascinante, resa ancora più piacevole da ambienti curati nei minimi dettagli, eleganti e accoglienti. La struttura offre un’atmosfera intima e rilassante, ideale per staccare completamente e vivere Matera in modo diverso. Grande attenzione anche alla pulizia e alla qualità dei servizi, con uno staff gentile e disponibile che contribuisce a rendere il soggiorno impeccabile. Un posto che consiglio assolutamente a chi cerca qualcosa di speciale e fuori dal comune
