“Непогано, але є нюанси”

I was in the center, in Pechersk, right near the places I wanted to visit. It’s a 20‑minute walk to the metro, or you can take the “Ukraine” Palace (metro) or Pechersk. Those are two different metro lines, so it’s convenient to choose the one that suits you. The room has a decent large bathtub (a luxury in EU countries and hostels), the room itself and the furniture are solid, wooden. There were few people on the floor, so it was quite quiet and peaceful. There’s a cooler with free water, an electric kettle, and a microwave in the corridor. The room has a cup, dishes, free internet, and a TV (if you still watch it). Clean, cozy, convenient. Problems with payment. The website doesn’t allow card payments on site, so cash is preferred. I arrived late, around 21:00, without cash. I couldn’t withdraw it anywhere. The concierge admin took my card number, I transferred the money there. The next day the administrator asked me to call the bank so they could reverse my transfer (because there was some card error). Then pay again with new details or cash. The bank said the payment was “for services”; if the service is already provided, they won’t refund it because it looks suspicious… So bank payment was tricky. Better to have cash. The hotel is on the 9th floor (the rest of the building are offices). During the alarms and Russian ballistic shelling and drone attacks, I felt uncomfortable because it was the 9th floor, high up. I went down at 3 am when the city was normally exploding. It was scary. Where’s the nearest shelter? Unknown. So I stayed on the first floor, on the stairs at midnight. No one else went down; I never found a shelter. Should ask at the start.

The room was clean and cozy, with everything needed (dishes, slippers, bedding, shampoo, towels, fridge, TV; microwave, kettle, water cooler, iron in the corridor). The staff were friendly! I stayed for three days and was completely satisfied! No negatives noticed.

“Hinta-laatusuhde erittäin kohdillaan”

The night stay was unbeatable. The apartment was also spacious, and the air‑conditioning took the comfort to a new level in the heat. A small shop nearby. Cleaning was a bit sloppy (not very thorough), but it didn’t bother me much. The location was a bit far from the metro, but in Kyiv taxis aren’t expensive, so that didn’t bother me.

Everything was fine. The hallway lamp in the room doesn’t work.
