The place was very close to the city center, but the air conditioning didn’t work properly.

The location was close to the old town, the self‑check‑in was easy, and the room was reasonably clean, spacious, and safe.

The location was central, the room was large and had everything needed – fridge, kettle, towels, TV – but when we arrived in the evening we were told to enter on our own, they explained where the key was and where to go, yet the room was dirty, had no towels, no toilet paper, not even a bed sheet, and there were piles of folded linens; the place was filthy, with hair and grime everywhere. We sent a message to the host and tried calling, but got no answer, so we went to a big supermarket and bought all the essentials – toilet paper, a sheet, towels, a blanket, coffee/tea – and the next morning the host came back and told us we were in the wrong room (the key he left opened a different one), that they had cleaned and prepared another apartment, and we had to pack our luggage again and move into the new room. The new room did have everything, but we had already bought everything and it cost us a lot.

“Good value for money, would recommend”

The host is well situated in Chiang Mai’s old city, and every tourist spot is within a 20‑minute walk. The room is very spacious and fully equipped, and there’s a handy laundry downstairs. It’s good value for money and I’d definitely recommend it! We did have some trouble with check‑in – nobody was there when we arrived even though we were told otherwise – but everything was sorted out within 30 minutes.
