At first glance the accommodation looked nice, probably new. Breakfast at a nearby café. Parking right next to the building. This place isn’t suitable for four adults, as we were. The second bedroom is tiny, windowless, 120 cm bed, accessible only from one side. The room feels a bit like a cellar, below street level. The advertised terrace is actually the entrance door, the view from it is the opposite building. There’s a loud pump, so every use of the toilet and water in the bathroom causes big noise. What surprised us most was the price‑quality ratio of the accommodation. It was the most expensive stay on our trip through Calabria and at the same time the worst. Even a beautiful apartment with two bedrooms and two bathrooms in the middle of Sassi in Matera was cheaper.

The Vicoletto isn’t just a room—it’s an apartment. Spotlessly clean and modernly furnished, we were totally taken aback. Breakfast is served at the nearby bar, and we felt completely at ease. Check‑in was quick and smooth. Nothing negative.

A very spacious and tidy apartment, brand new. The only downside is that Corigliano Calabro offers nothing to do; we had to travel to Corigliano Scalo for good restaurants and a few shops.
