“Perfect stay”
The entire property is amazing, situated in a beautiful part of the country. Michal and Annette welcomed us warmly, were super friendly, and gave great local recommendations—we enjoyed dinner at the Silverstream Hotel and loved stargazing. The unit was comfortable, spacious, and fully equipped. We appreciated the flowers and homemade chocolate they left for our anniversary and Father’s Day—thank you! The only downside was that we only stayed one night.

Our lodge stay was incredible. Michal and Annette greeted us warmly from the moment we arrived, showed us around their home, shared its history, and explained how to use the facilities, including the spa. They introduced us to the goats and pointed out the various areas of the property we could explore. They offered great local recommendations, including a dinner spot we thoroughly enjoyed. The location itself is stunning, with breathtaking views of the Two Thumb Range and surrounding snow‑covered mountains. The open rural setting gave us plenty of space to walk, breathe fresh air, and appreciate the peaceful surroundings. The homemade chocolates were fantastic and a perfect finishing touch to a wonderful stay.
The owners were very friendly and the stay was extremely comfortable, with the night sky full of stars visible from the jacuzzi being absolutely beautiful. As you may already know, it’s a bit of a drive from Lake Wānaka, so take care and enjoy the drive.

The location was gorgeous—very peaceful and relaxing. The hosts were excellent, and they made my stay wonderful.
Perfect for Dobson or Fox Peak, or if you’re not skiing and just want a comfortable stay. It’s a bit of a stretch to get to Round Hill.
