The property is beautifully and peacefully located, with wonderful views, but unfortunately the menu didn’t reflect the bio agrotourism name it gives itself. The main courses were solely meat. As a vegetarian, the two options from the starters I wanted were unavailable for lunch and dinner. We would’ve expected fresh vegetable dishes, if these were not ripe from their own land, we would’ve expected them to organize this from a regional shop from lunch to dinner to provide the guests with proper dishes selections, resulting in a 6.0/10.

The hotel itself was decent, but we had to wait for rooms that weren't ready at the announced times and spent 2 H 30 in the evening to get dinner, which was very slow, with a limited menu and the second bottle of wine we ordered never being brought.

The location is great and the mountain view is unique, a wonderful place to daydream, but the hotel seems driven more by profit than heart, with clearly too few staff to manage everything. The existing team was consistently polite and attentive and did their best, yet it was obvious that some employees were simply overwhelmed. During our entire trip through Albania we never had to wait an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived it was average to good in taste, though part of our order was initially forgotten. Breakfast confirmed this impression: tomatoes, cucumbers and cheese had apparently been sliced the night before, which we also noted tasted off. These signs suggested the hotel was understaffed. We also wondered why a hotel receiving €500,000 EU funding for rural development would not hire more local people and instead employ staff from Asia; with such funding we expected greater local benefit. I want to emphasize that our impression was not due to the behavior of the staff we dealt with—everyone was very nice, attentive and courteous—but that they simply had to do too much under the circumstances. Overall, this aspect dimmed our stay and the overall impression of our trip. We were especially looking forward to good food and a hotel run with heart, and these are the areas where we see clear room for improvement.

It was simply a crazy experience, the place was amazing… the view was insane! VIP service, we had the best dinner we’ve ever had in Albania, the rooms were clean, new, and incredibly furnished.
