Everything was pristine, and the restaurant staff were exceptionally courteous; however, only one elevator worked and it moved very slowly, the stairs were hard to find, and the shower curtain had a faint odor.

“I had a better stay at a Best Western than this Hilton”

The staff were friendly, yet the building felt outdated—evident in the uneven, hard mattress that groaned and the pillows that flattened. We were jolted awake by a fire alarm at almost 5 am for no clear reason, which was scary. I was grateful I could grab my mother’s medication (she’s not very mobile), use the elevator to bring her and her scooter down for evacuation, and collect my glasses, phone, and car keys so we didn’t wait outside in the cold. The alarm was triggered by a faulty leak somewhere that set off the system.
