The hostel was clean. The shared bathroom was small, the corridor light was harsh all night, the walls were very thin, the windows in Room 1 didn’t close, and the bed was hard.

Hostal Delfos sits in central Barcelona, a three‑minute stroll from La Rambla and Plaça Catalunya. The boutique guesthouse offers private or shared‑bath rooms equipped with fans and heating, plus free Wi‑Fi throughout. Within five minutes lies the Gothic Quarter and cathedral; the Picasso Museum is fifteen minutes away. A tour desk provides local guidance, and the airport is a 30‑minute bus ride.

Conveniently located in central Barcelona, close to the metro, and walkable to major sights if desired. I valued the safety of staying at Hostal Delfos given Barcelona’s crime situation, with building entry only by code, and the 24‑hour reception was also important.

A clean, very central spot and the reception staff were very friendly. The guests slam the doors hard, which interrupts sleep.

A very good welcome, everything was very clean, they cleaned the room daily, there was a common area where you could have coffee or something anytime, and it was well‑located. I had a room facing the avenue, which is very noisy, but that’s expected in the city; we stayed three nights and it was entirely tolerable, though a bit pricey, but it’s Barcelona.
