Le Forest Resort

Despite a few negative reviews, we booked one night at Le Forest because of its beautiful pool and gardens — and ended up staying four! We had a wonderful stay and highly recommend it, especially for families. The gardens are beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained, with plenty of safe space and activities for children. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the rooms were well equipped, especially the cooking facilities. A beautiful, relaxing, family-friendly resort. We would definitely return!

“Décevant”

Woken by a rooster every morning at 4:30 am! No possibility to change rooms… The staff were not welcoming at all, it felt like we were invisible… they were far too busy with a seasonal group. A refreshment is needed, general maintenance is lacking; I find it expensive for what it was even though the pool was nice… the bar was never open. It’s a shame it has good potential that’s not exploited to the detriment of travelers like us.

The place is perfect for nature lovers, beautiful grounds, a large clean pool, tasty varied food, two cats, 5 playful dogs. The room has a kitchen, a big fridge, a stove, dishes. The description mentioned a free airport transfer. We were counting on it because of our late arrival. Several messages to staff to find out who would meet us. We ended up getting a message to arrange it ourselves. We had to take an expensive taxi at night. When we arrived at reception, no one was there, a disgruntled person answered the phone. Note that the area has many insects: mosquitoes, gnats, flies, ants, caterpillars, cockroaches. When we tried to sleep, we found a needle with a thread on the mattress. Unpleasant.

I had an excellent experience at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful, and everything was perfect. I highly recommend staying here.
