The pool was a highlight, but the room was just average. I couldn’t lock the door properly and the shower only gave cold water. There were a few cooking amenities, but the pool area felt a bit cramped. It’s only a couple of minutes from the beach, but after dark it’s not safe and the local drivers are unreliable – I ended up with a dodgy contact named Duvan that the hostel gave me.
