The charm of sleeping while hearing nature and animals. Guide Rey was the best. He explained many curiosities and showed us a lot of flora and fauna, a guide of 10. The staff’s attention, the cleanliness, everything was perfect.

Nice lodge with spacious bungalows plus a terrace with a hammock. Our guide was very knowledgeable and told a lot. We liked that the guide had a green laser pointer to spot animals. We chose this lodge because it was said to be at the entrance of the NP, but it is actually more than 15 minutes by boat from the NP entrance. Inside the lodge we did not feel like we were in the jungle; we had imagined it wilder. We have spent 5 weeks in Peru and stayed at several lodges in Iquitos, Manu NP and Puerto Maldonado. Compared to those, some excursions were relatively short and we had a lot of free time. Our description said we would visit the NP on two days, but it was only one day. Our bungalow had no curtains, so we felt uncomfortable at night with the light in the room. Electricity in the bungalow was only available for three hours in the evening. Initially we booked a five‑day tour in the lodge, but it was not clear that we would spend a night in a tent. It was unusual for us that the full payment had to be made shortly after booking.

The transfer was convenient, the guide was always attentive and joined us on all expeditions, and the lodge staff were excellent. I recommend it to anyone who wants to learn more about the Amazon and disconnect from routine. Experiencing the reserve in all its splendor with them is a unique experience.

The property is beautifully situated deep in the forest with wildlife right outside. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The shower water is cold but refreshing (trust me you won’t want a warm shower in the humidity) and the lodge is comfortable and well equipped (mosquito nets, toiletries, drinking water) with places to relax (swing and seat on the lake, hammock at the lodge). Chef was fantastic, every meal was different and we even caught some piranha ourselves! It was very isolated, no Wi‑Fi and electricity only during certain hours, but that wasn’t a problem for us since we wanted to disconnect and be in nature.
