The hotel is very beautiful and the breakfast is amazing, but the rooms stay very cold, especially at night, and there isn’t much hot water in the shower. Our room wasn’t cleaned – which is tolerable for two nights – and the towels didn’t dry because the room was too cold.

The place sits just a short walk from the centre, though getting there by car is a hassle, and the whole interior looks like a piece of art – each room is uniquely decorated and the beds are super comfy. Breakfast was varied and excellent, making me feel right at home. If you’re not comfortable on steep, uneven stone paths, the climb up and down can be a pain, and the tap water had a noticeable taste.

We stayed in the lookout room, which was nice with a very comfortable mattress and plenty of space. The garden was beautiful, well‑maintained, and the surroundings pleasant. Breakfast was delicious, and we would definitely return. Nothing we didn’t like.
We liked the hotel’s concept, the personal attention from staff and the quiet, pleasant location – everything felt thoughtfully arranged. Unfortunately the furniture showed its age, one of the beds was missing a leg, the shower still leaked into the soap dish and the kitchen was left dirty. Those maintenance hiccups took the shine off an otherwise solid experience.
