The hut’s location directly on the lake was the best accommodation we had on holiday; the room had a continuous window front and the view was simply dreamy. Only two of these huts exist; the rest are camping sites. The terrace was delightfully small yet lovely, with direct access to the lake. We received breakfast at the door, very flexible timing, even as late as 14:00, perhaps because we were alone in the camp for all six days (September). The mattresses were cozy. The owner arranged a very nice driver (Tuktuk Mustafa 🥰) and guides. The house dog Sata is a cuddly cat. On the downside, there was sometimes a sewer smell, the lake looked uninviting on the first night with foam on the shore, so we only waded with our feet. The sanitary facilities were poor; when the tap at the sink broke, nothing was done, and toilet paper was only given once upon request. There was no air‑conditioning. Coffee and tea were charged extra at checkout, but not expensive.
