The private layout and well-appointed cabins were stocked with everything we needed, and the setup by the water was nice; however, every activity was à la carte, so kayaking or SUP required extra payment.

We were greeted with extreme warmth. Ingo, the host, guided us through a fascinating conversation about VipiLodge’s history and then showed us our cottage in detail. The cottage is surrounded by trees on an island reached by several bridges, and the island scenery is fantastic. The sea and the reception are just a few minutes’ walk away, where we sat daily in the “Internet Café” to connect with the outside world, because there’s no Wi‑Fi in the cottage. We absolutely loved the calm and seclusion!

We’re so glad we found this place! The cottage is quaint and cosy with homely touches (books to read!) set in its own little woodland. It’s very quiet. Our hosts Ingo & Maria welcomed us warmly and gave great local recommendations. Many thanks to Leonie & Martin (Melbourne, Australia).

The owner really went out of his way to make sure the place was completely scent‑free for me, which was a huge relief. If you’re looking for a spot without any fragrance worries, this is the spot. No complaints at all – everything was exactly as promised.
