The bathtub was very nice, only 2 minutes from the house there is a beach that feels like a secret spot, and you also get two free bikes which we used to explore the city.

“Deluso”

The look of the place was good, but the functionality left a lot to be desired; the open bathroom in the room didn’t work well, the bed creaked when moving, it was comfortable when still, the drawers were dirty, and the fridge was noisy. The area was isolated and had nothing. I booked the room because it was “very close to the theatre” for a concert, yet it took 30 minutes on foot, feeling like I was in Tunisia. I now understand the free bike offer, but it still doesn’t fix the problem. I wouldn’t stay here again.

The two‑person bathtub was huge, which was a big plus.

There was nothing good about the place; the building was dilapidated.

The location is walkable to Ortigia, the area feels safe, and it’s on the cheaper side. However, the photos mislead; the unit had once been newly renovated but when we stayed the walls were deteriorated, paint was peeling, and black dots appeared on most walls. The bed was uncomfortable, pillows were deflated and overused (we had to use towels under them for cushioning – horrible!), and the floor wasn’t cleaned properly as we could feel dirt under our feet. Overall, I was unimpressed.
